ABELL PUMMELS JOLLEY
In an off-TV bout, heavyweight Joey Abell (14-1, 14 KOs) demolished Harvey Jolley (6-3-1). Abell had no respect for the power of his smaller opponent and went after him from the get go.
Jolley fell to the floor after being pummeled by headshots from Abell in the first but managed to make it through the round.
Abell continued to head hunt in the second. Two vicious left hooks sent Jolley to the floor once again and referee Mark Nelson had seen enough as he waived the fight off. The time of the stoppage was 1:55 of the second round.
